District Champion of Champions Ladies Pairs:

The Champion of Champion Pairs was won by Eryn Brightwell and Helen Wood-Bradley of Darra-Cementco. It was a well contested final and the Algester pair of Pat Jamieson and Pam Botterill fought well to reach the final. Congratulations to all the ladies who entered

District Champion of Champions Ladies Singles:

A great display of draw bowls by both players was witnessed by all in the final of the Champion of Champions Singles.

Congratulations to Helen Wood-Bradley from Darra Cementco who triumphed 25-17 over Moorooka's Wilma Hopkins. Thanks to Algester for their hospitality to all the ladies for the two days, for having the green in top condition and for supplying markers and umpires.

The final of the 2009 Ladies Champion of Champions Pairs was played at Goodna on Friday 14 August.  Congratulations to the winners, Marcia Macoun and Wilma Hopkins of Moorooka, who defeated Isobel Benson and Lea Stewart of IUS in a close match, 20-19.  Well done, Ladies.
