POST PENNANT MEETING NOTES

These were the suggestions that were brought up at the meeting  at Jindalee 16th October.

  1. Division 1, 2, and 3 to have 12 players per side.  Number of divisions depends on the entries.

  2. For 2010, playoffs to continue.

  3. To shorten the pennant season.....play 2 games in the one week. e.g. the club's play day + one other day..... depends on the availability of their greens.
    bullet

e.g. a Tuesday and Thursday (clubs will be required to check for available day)

    bullet

Suggested Pennant play will then be played approximately from mid July to end of August.

  4. After playing 2 games in a higher division, then the player must stay in the higher division.  (This may not be in the one division, but may be a combination of divisions)

  5. If a team has won a pennant, then for the next season the winner must go up to the next division (regardless of whether this means that some clubs have two teams in the one division.)

  6. If a division has a bye, this will not count as a game.

  7. There will be a meeting of the Match Committee in early December to look at the Conditions of Play for Ladies Pennants.  Clubs will be notified when the Conditions of Play are completed.
