Brisbane Districts Challenge: To be held at Corinda Bowls Club on Sunday 9th October 2011.  This challenge is played between Brisbane North, Gateway, Brisbane and Cunningham Districts.

Brisbane North Challenge: Held at Moorooka Bowls Club on Sunday 11th September 2011.

Moorooka played host to the Cunningham Ladies and the ladies from Brisbane North for the annual challenge. Cunningham Ladies won the shield for the second time in a row. Well done Cunningham for the 144 to 122 victory.
The day was a very pleasant day on and off the green. Thanks to Moorooka for the tasty meal and to Jill and Netta for their assistance.

District Sides Game at Sandgate:

Congratulations to Cunningham District Ladies on winning the State District Sides for 2011

The ladies side won 8 out of 9 games in the round robin, and won all three finals games against Brisbane, Tropical Far North Qld, and Gateway, making Cunningham District the winner of Division 1.  In the men's competition, Cunningham came second in Division 2, winning two out of three of the finals.  Well done to everyone concerned.

The Caboolture Challenge was played Sunday April 17th 2011 at Kilcoy. 

The Cunningham ladies performed well to defeat the Caboolture ladies overall 441- 324 shots. It was an enjoyable day at Kilcoy and an experience for a lot of the ladies to visit for their first time a small country club. Congratulations to Cunningham

Selectors' Report following Quad Series

The Quad series was played in great spirit. Gateway were the undefeated winners.
Cunningham District Ladies defeated Brisbane North by 21 shots and were defeated by Brisbane by 7 shots but were convincingly defeated by Gateway.

      Downs Challenge

Congratulations to the Cunningham Ladies on their great effort on Sunday 4th July at the Downs Challenge. In their first game the team was victorious by a margin of 16 and up by 10 in the second game. That gave them an overall victory over the Downs by a margin of 26. The Ladies Committees of Cunningham are very proud of the team and their victory returned the shield to the District for another year. Many thanks to Netta Gehrke who managed the team and to Yvonne Kelly for organising the ladies. Well done Ladies

      Gateway Challenge 22  August

The Cunningham Ladies fought to the end to go down by six shots to a determined team of Gateway Ladies (119 to 113). There were some excellent bowls played by both sides and the game was enjoyed immensely by all. Thanks to the manager, Netta, to the Ladies President, Jill, and Dulcie Frost for all her help with setting up the score boards and collating the scores. Many thanks President Marlene and the IUS ladies.

      Brisbane North on 12th September

In the Brisbane North Challenge the Cunningham Ladies took a commanding lead in the opening ten ends and remained in good form throughout to win 146 to 113 winning five rinks to two. Thanks to the Ladies of Cunningham and to Brisbane North for the day.
