Notice for Umpires

All Bowls Clubs need Umpires. Umpire numbers within CDBA are falling, and this is placing an increasing burden on those Umpires who never like to say “No” when asked to umpire a game. If you are interested in learning more about the Laws of the Sport of Bowls, consider becoming an Umpire and attending an L1 Umpires course.

To all those L1 Umpires who need to re-accredit during the year, a number of L1 Umpires Courses will be run  to enable you to re-accredit and retain your National Umpire Status. New Umpires and re-accrediting Umpires both do the same course and complete the same tests. Re-accrediting Umpires, however, may choose to do an Oral test, whereas new umpires must do a written test.

For further information, contact Barry Gabel - Ph 07 3715 8804 07 3715 8804 or Email gabel_b@iprimus.com.au
